CALOOCAN CITY OPENS FIRST-EVER SCIENCE VIRTUAL REALITY LAB
CALOOCAN has officially launched its first-ever Science Virtual Reality (VR) Laboratory at Amparo Elementary School, marking a significant step toward modernizing science education in the city.
This state-of-the-art facility offers an immersive, engaging, and safe environment for students, allowing them to explore scientific concepts through virtual simulations. The VR lab enables students to conduct experiments and engage in science learning without the risks associated with traditional labs.
This initiative is part of the city’s commitment to enhancing the quality of education for Batang Kankaloo. “We want our students to have access to the best educational resources. This VR lab will make learning science more exciting, accessible, and safe,” said Mayor Dale Along Malapitan.
The Science VR Laboratory is part of a larger effort to improve laboratory facilities across Caloocan. City officials have pledged to continue developing educational infrastructure that supports innovative learning.
Parents, teachers, and students have expressed excitement about the new facility, recognizing it as a game-changer in making science education more interactive. “Learning science will now be more fun and interesting. It will help us better understand complex topics,” said one student from Amparo Elementary.
Building on the success of this project, the city plans to introduce more advanced learning technologies in schools, reaffirming its commitment to providing world-class education for its students.
