THE CIVIL  Aviation Authority of the Philippines  announced that its Civil Aviation Training Center has been officially upgraded from Bronze to Silver Membership Certification by the International Civil Aviation Organization’s  TRAINAIR PLUS Programme.

This recognition marks a significant milestone in CAAP’s pursuit of excellence and commitment to global aviation standards.

The Silver Membership reflects CATC’s enhanced capability to develop and deliver high-quality, competency-based training in line with ICAO standards and recommended practices.

This achievement also supports the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and Department of Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon to elevate the Philippines’ aviation sector through strict compliance with international regulations and continuous improvement in safety, efficiency, and training.

CAAP reaffirmed its commitment to raising the standards of Philippine aviation and ensuring safer, more secure skies for all.
