BMBHTE DISTRIBUTES PRINTING SUPPLIES TO COTABATO SCHOOLS
THE BANGSAMORO MInistry of Basic, Higher, and Technical Education said on Friday that it distributed printing supplies to schools in Cotabato.
The initiative was part of Learning Continuity Plan in the region.
“A total of 1,973 boxes of bond paper were given on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, to schools in BARMM Special Geographic Area (SGA) or the 63 barangays of North Cotabato. Of which, 1,550 boxes were given to 85 elementary schools while 419 boxes to 21 secondary schools,” the ministry said on Facebook.
“Another distribution was held on Thursday, April 22, 2021, at the Schools Division of Cotabato City where a total of 6,962 boxes were given to 28 elementary while 4,447 to 15 secondary schools,” it added.
Nine other school divisions will also receive the same supplies.
The ministry said that the procurement, though not a part of the Bangsamoro Appropriations Act of 2020, was done to provide continuous education amid the pandemic.
