ATENEO LAUNCHES SCHOLARSHIP FOR FRESHMEN
TO MAKE education more accessible, the Ateneo de Manila University launched a new scholarship program for incoming college students.
Ateneo said that the Magis Scholarship is the “most generous” and “most extensive” financial aid offered by the university yet.
“It is an all-expenses-paid scholarship designed to help the most financially-constrained but deserving students receive a world-class, holistic college education and formation,” the university said.
“The Magis Scholarship is part of the University’s commitment to make the Loyola Schools accessible to more students without the economic means to do so,” it added.
The scholarship covers full tuition and fees throughout college; monthly food and living allowance; books and supplies allowance; miscellaneous expenses allowance; transportation to and from the home province; on-campus accommodation; and a laptop and a cellphone.
Scholars will be selected among the members of the freshmen batch of AY 2022-2023 – one each from the National Capital Region, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
Applications can be submitted until December 1, 2021.
