ATENEO DE ZAMBOANGA U GETS GREEN LIGHT FROM CHED TO RESUME F2F CLASSES FOR NURSING
THE COMMISSION on Higher Education allowed Ateneo de Zamboanga University to hold limited face-to-face classes for its BS Nursing program.
THE COMMISSION on Higher Education allowed Ateneo de Zamboanga University to hold limited face-to-face classes for its BS Nursing program.
AdZu said it received a Certification of Authority from CHED for complying with the guidelines and health protocols to resume in-person classes.
“In pursuit of quality education, AdZU has reviewed and implemented strict health protocols inside the campus to ensure the safety of the students,” the university said.
“The face-to-face classes for our future nurses ensure high quality healthcare workers ready to take on any challenge guided by Ignatian values and spirituality,” it added.
Last month, several higher education institutions were allowed by CHED to conduct limited in-person classes for their health-related degree programs.
CHED said this move will enable students to achieve key learning outcomes on specialized laboratory courses and hospital-based clinical clerkship, and provide additional manpower to the country’s health system as the country faces a pandemic.
