EDUCATION Secretary Sonny Angara led the groundbreaking ceremony for the Bacoor City Science and Technology High School.

The new school will be a 12-story building, featuring 60 classrooms, nine workshop rooms, science laboratories, computer centers, a library, multimedia rooms, and collaborative learning spaces.

“This is not just about the building. What’s more important is that our teachers are motivated to teach, and our students are excited to learn and eager to expand their horizons,” Angara said.

Bacoor City Mayor Strike Revilla, Cavite Second District Representative Lani Mercado Revilla, Department of Public Works and Highways Undersecretary Eric Ayapana, Department of Education Usec. Trygye Olaivar, and other officials also attended the ceremony.

“This 12-story building symbolizes our commitment to delivering quality, excellent, and globally competitive education to our kabataang Bacooreño,” said the Bacoor mayor.

Earlier, Angara also led the groundbreaking for the five-story academic building of Marikina Science High School, which will feature 32 classrooms and four specialized workshop rooms.
