EDUCATION Secretary Sonny Angara attended the inauguration of the Senate President Neptali A. Gonzales Integrated School in Mandaluyong City on Monday (03 Feb 2025).

The new school building features 96 classrooms, 21 special lab facilities, and office spaces.

This event was part of the celebrations marking Mandaluyong’s 80th liberation anniversary and 31st cityhood anniversary.

Mandaluyong Mayor Benjamin “Ben” Abalos, Vice Mayor Carmelita “Menchie” Abalos, former Vice Mayor Antonio “Anthony” delos Santos Suva Jr., Mandaluyong Rep. Neptali “Boyet” Medina Gonzales II, and key officials from both the Central and local Department of Education also attended.

Angara commended the Schools Division Office – City of Mandaluyong for its exceptional performance.

“I congratulate all of you. This is the result of your hard work—your sacrifices, late nights, early mornings, and numerous meetings. Maraming-maraming salamat po sa inyo. I am honored to witness this and to be part of your success,” Angara said.
