EDUCATION Secretary Sonny Angara participated in Parnuay: 3rd Creativity in Philippine Higher Education Summit on Tuesday.

According to the Department of Education, his attendance is part of the government’s collaborative efforts to further nurture the creativity of Filipino students.

The summit, led by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), aims to discuss the role of performing and digital arts in education, culture, and the economy.

In his message, Angara highlighted key reforms being implemented by DepEd, including the Strengthened Senior High School Curriculum. He also emphasized DepEd’s partnerships with private institutions to provide students with opportunities essential for developing their creative skills.

Also attending the summit were CHED Chairperson Shirley Agrupis, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Director General Jose Francisco “Kiko” Benitez, and EDCOM 2 Executive Director Karol Mark Yee.
