EDUCATION Secretary Sonny Angara expressed his gratitude upon being retained as the head of the Department of Education.

“I am deeply honored by the trust of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.,” Angara said.

“We share his resolve for a stronger, more resilient Republic. His directive to us is clear: sama-sama nating itaas ang kalidad ng edukasyon.”

Angara, along with other secretaries, was asked to remain in their posts.

Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin said that performance evaluations are still ongoing.

“We are still undertaking continuing performance evaluations… I assure you that this is a very sweeping and thorough evaluation being made by the President and the panel of his choice.” –
