IPINANUKALA ni Zamboanga del Norte 1st District Rep. Romeo Jalosjos Jr. ang pagtatayo ng Agri-Fishery High School sa Dapitan City.

Sa kanyang House Bill 6459, iginiit ni Jalosjos na mandato ng estado na magtayo at mag-operate ng isang integrated system ng edukasyon na tutugon sa pangangailangan ng taumbayan.

“It is faithful intention of this humble representation to establish a system of education that is suitable to the needs and aligned with topographical features of Dapitan City which is agri-fishery geographic profile,” pahayag ni Jalosjos sa kanyang explanatory note.

Ipinaliwanag ni Jalosjos na ang educational system na ipatutupad ay kabibilangan ng programa na tutugon sa food sufficiency sa pamamagitan ng technical skills development sa agri-fishery endeavour.

Magiging pokus ng Dapitan City Agri-Fishery High School ang mga kaalaman at kahusayan sa agriculture at fishery arts sa senior high school students.

Alinsunod sa panukala, lahat ng pondong kailangan para sa operasyon ng paaralan ay isasama sa taunang General Appropriations Act ng Department of Education.
