THE COMMISSION on Higher Education said that 82.45 percent of the teaching and non-teaching personnel in higher education institutions have been fully vaccinated against Covid19.

CHED Chairman Prospero De Vera III said that the vaccination rate significantly increased since April.

Of the 290,380 HEI personnel, 239,431 have been inoculated.

De Vera said that Region 8, Cordillera Administrative Region and Region 11 have the most number of personnel who have been vaccinated.

Meanwhile, all regions have breached the 70 percent vaccination rate.

For students, 45.91 percent or 1,839,846 out of 4,007,785 have been vaccinated, with Region 9 posting the highest rate of vaccinated students.
