APAT na Filipino cadets ang nagtapos sa United States Coast Guard Academy.

Ayon sa Philippine Coast Guard, nasa 240 ang kabuuang bilang ng mga kasama sa USCGA Class of 2021.

Sina First-class Cadets Genison Basilio, Eric Joseph Noble, Daisy Anne Atayan, at Dianne Shaira Basuel ay nakapagtapos sa nasabing akademya sa tulong ng PCG sa ilalim ng programang Coast Guard Cadetship.

Ang graduation ceremony ay dinaluhan ni US President Joe Biden.

“The world is changing. We need you even more. It’s time for you to go out and be the future, to make the future,” pahayag ni Biden.

“We must continue to model responsible maritime behavior and uphold clear rules of international agreements that will protect and steward this pristine environment and secure it for future generations,” dagdag pa niya.

Ang apat na kadete ay sasailalim sa Coast Guard Officer’s Course pagbalik sa bansa at upang maging kuwalipikado bilang PCG commissioner.
