3 GRADS TOP CIVIL ENGINEER LICENSURE EXAMS
THREE graduates from different schools shared the top spot in the licensure exam for civil engineers given by the Professional Regulation Commission.
Arianne Joyce Dameg of the University of the Philippines Diliman, Archigine Labrador of the University of Saint Louis-Tuguegarao, and Jameson Glen Lim of Xavier University led the successful examinees with a rating of 93.95 percent.
Johnlern Dagala Paden of the Far Eastern University-Institute of Technology came in second with a score of 93.60 percent, followed by Carl Daniel Falcon Fabian of the University of Santo Tomas and Jason Salvador Mejia of the Pangasinan State University-Urdaneta with both getting 93.25.
The PRC said 5,836 out of 13,781 passed the examinations which were held in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
Meanwhile, the top-performing schools for the Civil Engineer Licensure Exam with 50 or more examinees and with at least an 80 percent passing rate were the UP Los Baños (95); UPD (94.57); De La Salle University-Manila (89.47); University of Santo Tomas (85.94); University of San Carlos (85.39); and Ateneo de Davao University (82.93).
