1,768 PASS MIDWIFERY LICENSURE EXAM
THE PROFESSIONAL Regulation Commission announced on Friday that 1,768 out of 3,472 examinees passed the licensure examination for midwifery.
Jonathan Calunsag Gatela Jr. of the University of the Philippine School of Health and Sciences-Leyte topped the exam with a rating of 90.10 percent.
Marielle Luceno Oberio of Iloilo Doctor’s College placed second with 90.05%, followed by April Toledo Tabios, also from UPSHS, with 89.90%.
The Midwifery Board exam was conducted this month in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
Meanwhile, the top performing school, with 100 percent passing rate, is Cavite State University (Don Severino Agricultural College).
