13 FILIPINOS STUDY JAPAN’S EDUCATION PRACTICES
THIRTEEN Filipino education professionals will visit Japan to learn about local practices in primary and secondary education administration.
The Japan International Cooperation Agency said that the Filipino delegates were granted an opportunity to study in Japan under its Knowledge Co-Creation Program.
The program aims to share Japan’s development experience, including its innovations, systems, and technologies, as part of capacity building support to partner countries.
“This is the second Young Leaders program to be conducted in Japan after Covid19, and the first education-related training program since 2017,” JICA said.
“Young Leaders training programs aim to develop the next generation of professionals who will address the most persistent socioeconomic challenges within their sectors,” it added.
The Filipino delegates will stay at the JICA Chugoku Center in Hiroshima from July 11 to 28, 2023.
