THE SAN BEDA University lit its campus in pink to show support to the candidacy of Vice President Leni Robredo.

The university administration believes Robredo will lead the Philippines well amid “these troubled times,” student publication The Bedan reported.

“San Beda Community is ONE in support of VP Leni’s presidential bid, believing that she embodies the Benedictine ideals of pax, ora et labora and the genuine servant-leadership qualities that the Filipino nation is yearning for especially during this troubled time,” Fr. Aelred Nilo, SBU vice president for Administration, said.

Earlier, the Adamson University, Universidad de Sta. Isabel and the Ateneo de Naga University also lit their campuses in pink in support of Robredo’s presidential bid.

Robredo has been associated with the pink color. Pink ribbons and streamers follow her motorcades.
