KINUMPIRMA ni Senador Sherwin Gatchalian na pasok siya sa senatorial slate ni Senador Manny Pacquiao para sa halalan sa susunod na taon.

“I do confirm that I am a guest candidate also in the Pacquiao’s slate,” pahayag ni Gatchalian.

Una rito, inihayag ni Pacquiao na bukod kay Gatchalian ay kasama na rin sa kanilang lineup si dating Senador Joseph Victor ‘JV’ Ejercito.

“Actually napupuno na ‘yung lineup ko kasi nandito na sa amin, sumama sa amin si Gatchalian. At tiyak nandiyan pa si JV,” pahayag ni Pacquiao.

Si Gatchalian na miyembro ng Nationalist People’s Coalition ay kasama rin sa senatorial candidates nina Senador Panfilo Lacson at Senate President Vicente Sotto III.

Nang tanungin naman si Gatchalian kung hihilingin niya ang endorsement ni vice presidential aspirant at Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, sinabi niya na, “I don’t want to preempt Mayor Sara on this matter. I would wait for the announcement of their team just like in the slate of Manny Pacquiao.”

Kasabay nito, inamin ni Gatchalian na ang kandidatura ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ay maituturing na dramatically change sa top 12.

“He changed the landscape of the top 12, the whole Senate ranking dramatically,” diin ng senador.

“Definitely with his popularity, with his approval rating, his approval rating is still at the 70s level and that’s good for a President in his last term. And definitely he will probably land in the top six in my forecast,” dagdag pa niya.
