THE SAMAHAN ng Progresibong Kabataan on Friday called on officials of the Far Eastern University to look into allegations of sexual harassment and misconduct on campus.

The group claimed to have received anonymous reports from students who were victims of sexual violence and misconduct from persons with authority.

“We strongly urge the FEU administration to conduct an impartial investigation about the prevailing cases of sexual harassment and misconduct,” SPARK said.

The group vowed to expose the perpetrators.

“To the predators in FEU, we know who you are. You will be exposed in due time. It might have been easy to use your privileged position to abuse students but we will reclaim the power and break the culture of silence that perpetuates this deep and systemic injustice,” it said.

“Your authority might have shielded you, but we will no longer be hampered with fear. We are more than willing to exhaust all measures to put you accountable and ensure that all sexual predators are extinguished from academic institutions,” the group added.

It called on school officials to promote an environment of safety and adopt processes that will support victims.
