THE YOKOHAMA Tire Philippines, Inc. will continue to provide scholarships to students of the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines as the company signed an agreement with the school.

IYTPI and UST officials signed a Memorandum of Agreement on October 26 for the scholarships as part of YTPI’s support to the education sector.

Present during the signing were YTPI President and CEOA Atsushi Funayama, Executive Vice President for Administration Division Kazutoshi Morimoto and Angelina Casasola.

Meanwhile, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Services Erich Abad, USTP President Dr. Ambrosio Cultura II, and USTP CDO Chancellor Dionel Albina represented the school.

The YTPI scholarship program is the flagship CSR initiative of Yokohama Tire Philippines as the company’s contribution to United Nations Sustainable Development Goals on Education.
