XAVIER University–Ateneo de Cagayan was honored by the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office 10 during the 58th ASEAN Founding Anniversary celebration held last month.

The event, which marked the start of ASEAN Month, featured the 4th Regional Quality Awards recognizing higher education institutions and partner agencies for their significant contributions to CHEDRO X from Academic Year 2023–2024 to 2024–2025.

XU received multiple recognitions highlighting its excellence in education, research, and community service:

• Autonomous Status (Sept. 16, 2025–Sept. 15, 2027)
• QS Asia University Rankings 2025 – Rank 801–850
• Top Performing School (Rank 2) in various licensure exams (AY 2023–2025)
• Licensure Exam Topnotchers (Rank 3) in Nursing, Elementary and Secondary Education, and Mechanical Engineering (AY 2023–2025)
• ACE Awards – Rank 1 for timely report submissions to CHEDRO X’s UNIFAST Unit (AY 2023–2025)
• ACE Awards – Rank 2 for timely report submissions to CHEDRO X’s STUFAP Unit (AY 2023–2025)

CHED underscored its commitment to inclusive education and sustainable internationalization in higher education during the awarding ceremonies.
