THE Board of Regents of the Western Visayas State University has extended the term of office of its president, Dr. Joselito Villaruz.

The evaluation committee led by Dr. Myrna Mallari recommended that Villaruz be given another four-year term.

“The performance of Dr. Villaruz was evaluated to serve as the basis for the decision regarding his renewal for another term,” said Dr. Peter Ernie Paris, the University’s faculty regent.

Villaruz got an outstanding rating in Academic Leadership, Institutional Leadership and Leadership in Resource Generation.

Other members of the ECP include WVSU Local Secretariat William Janayan and Jariz Amatorio BOR personnel.
