THE Western Mindanao State University assured its constituents that due process will be followed, as ‘grave’ reports regarding one of its employees have been circulating in social media.

According to WMSU, it is concerned about the grave allegations against its faculty members, who have been involved with an issue with a student.

“The safety and well-being of our students, faculty, and the entire WMSU community are our utmost priorities. We are committed to taking appropriate action by the findings of the investigation to uphold the integrity of our institution and provide a secure environment for all,” WMSU said in a statement on Facebook.

While WMSU did not say anything specific, the WMSU Freewall, a non-affiliated Facebook page that posts confessions of students, posted a harassment story of one of the university’s former students.

Different netizens, who had the same experience with the professor, also said they want justice to be served.

“We understand the concerns and anxieties that may arise from such situations, and we assure you that we are dedicated to addressing the case according to the legal and moral measures that it requires,” the university added.
