VISAYAS STATE U STUDENTS SET FOR CLASSROOM RETURN

/ 20 March 2022

STUDENTS of the Visayas State University will return to the classroom on five of its campuses after two years of implementing distance learning.

VSU said fourth year students will be the first ones to be subjected to face-to-face classes starting March 21.

It said this is to give the seniors a grasp of the laboratories and equipment that they will need.

On-the-job training will also be allowed as they need physical experience.

Lecture classes, on the other hand, will remain online mode.

The university said the move is risky but calculated as they will follow the guidelines set by the Commission on Higher Education, including vaccination status, medical insurance, and affidavits for students.

It added it is fully equipped and ready as its facilities have been retrofitted to cater to the new normal and uphold minimum health standards.
