THE VISAYAS State University has received a total of P27.7 million pesos  worth of donations to help with its development.

VSU said that of the number, P5 million were handed out for the implementation of its Futures Thinking Project.

The other P22.7 million are for the upgrading of its equipment and facilities for its smart campus development project.

Part of it will also be used to help VSU with the conduct of limited face-to-face classes.

The said amount was handed out from the office of Sen. Pia Cayetano, which the university thanked her for.

VSU has also inked a pact with the oldest university in Indonesia for academic collaborations.
