THE VISAYAS  State University received financial assistance given by the Pangasinan State University for students, faculty, and staff affected by Typhoon Odette.

The PSU raised about P60,000 in cash assistance.

VSU thanked PSU President Dr. Dexter Buted for the help.

“This gesture of support from state universities and colleges is a manifestation of strong collaborations and goodwill to help one another in times of crisis,” VSU wrote on Facebook.

The donation will be allotted for food packs, potable water, hygiene kits, basic medical supplies, and roofing materials for communities in Southern Leyte, Bohol, Cebu, Dinagat Islands, and Surigao Del Norte.

“From all of us Viscans, thank you very much PSU and more power!” VSU said.
