THE VISAYAS State University thanked the University of Southern Mindanao for its assistance to students affected by Typhoon Odette.

VSU said that USM wired P40,000 to help  the students and the former’s relief efforts.

The university was ravaged by the typhoon, leaving damaged infrastructure.

The VSU initially handed out 252 food packs to students located in Southern Leyte and Eastern Visayas.

It pledged to expand the assistance to include students who reside in Bohol, Cebu, and Northern Mindanao.

The university continues to accept donations for those affected by the typhoon.
