THE VISAYAS State University will move the resumption of classes to January 9, 2023 to give its constituents more time to enjoy the holidays.

The VSU University Administrative Council approved the measure on Monday.

The resumption of classes was initially scheduled on Wednesday, January 4, 2023.

The schedule of the resumption of classes applies to all VSU campuses in Baybay City, Alangalang, Isabel, Tolosa, and Villaba.

“The movement of classes gives way for students coming from other island provinces to return safely to the university considering that frequent gale warnings have been recorded during the past weeks that canceled inter-island trips from Bohol, Cebu, Negros and other parts of the Visayas region,” VSU said in its website.

Meanwhile, VSU said that the date of examinations will remain the same.
