VIRGEN MILAGROSA UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION STUDENT TOPS MEDTECH BOARD EXAM
A student from the Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation in San Carlos, Pangasinan topped the medical technologist licensure examination given this month.
Felix Jayson Magleo Vegella got a passing rate of 91 percent.
The Professional Regulation Commission said that 1,921 out of 3,251 passed the exam.
Rocelle Anne Ramos Leonardo of the Far Eastern University Manila and Clarice Anne Castroverde Medrano of Emilio Aguinaldo College Manila placed second with a rating of 88.30 percent, while Bernard Garcia Oledan Jr. from the Centro Escolar University in Makati ranked third with 87.70 percent.
They were followed by Ryal Anthony Lauron of the University of Baguio (87.60 percent), Julius Ryan Salmos of the Saint Louis University in Baguio (87.60 percent), and Francis Jacob Paras of the University of Santo Tomas (87.50 percent).
The others in the Top 10 were Noiemy Joyra Serrano of Angeles University Foundation (87.30), Macrhowen Vincent Kibir of Velez College in Cebu (87.20), Darlene Gail Cu of Velez College (87), Kristian Dela Cruz of Nueva Ecija Doctor’s Hospital (87), Giles Dumangeng of Saint Mary’s University in Nueva Vizcaya (86.90), Aldous Rein Nonog of Saint Louis University (86.90), Melissa Serina of Centro Escolar University-Manila (86.90), and Ludwig Jean Pacia of Metropolitan Medical Center College of Arts, Science & Technology (86.90).
Meanwhile, the six top performing schools with 50 or more examinees with at least 80 percent passing percentage were the Saint Louis University (98.01), Adventist University of the Philippines in Cavite (96.55), Velez College (93.06), University of Baguio (90.37), Southwestern University in Cebu (84.91), and FEU-Manila (83.08).
