USTP RESUMES F2F CLASSES
THE UNIVERSITY of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines resumed in-person learning on Monday, March 28, after two years of distance learning.
USTP said it complied with the requirements for face-to-face learning set by authorities.
The school also said that it decided to resume in-person classes as Covid19 cases eased nationwide.
A dry-run of classes was conducted before the resumption of actual classes.
USTP formed a Crisis Management Committee to oversee the school operation amid the pandemic.
The Commission on Higher Education allows schools to resume physical learning in all courses, subject to approval and regulations.
CHED said that schools opting to hold in-person learning must have a high vaccination rate, retrofitted classrooms and approval from the concerned government agencies.
