THE WEBSITE of the University of Santo Tomas bagged the Bronze Award for Best International Website Page in the virtual 2020 Quacquarelli-Symonds APPLE Conference.

This is the platform’s third recognition.

UST was represented in the QS-APPLE Conference by QS/THE Rankings Deputy Director Nestor Ong, QS/THE Rankings Office Clerk Vien Vic Flores, and International Relations and Programs Associate Director Karen Santiago.

Managed by the Communications Bureau’s Online Section, the university’s website recently transitioned to a new design with added security and functionalities.

“It contains various information about the university, ranging from its policies and procedures, to its programs and undertakings,” UST said.

“It is also in the process of developing the pages for the university’s varied advocacies and community development efforts,” it added.

The team behind the website is composed of Communications Bureau Director Rev. Fr. Christopher Jeffrey Aytona, Assistant Director for Online Philippe Jose Hernandez, Website Supervisor Mar Christian Darren Ramos, Clerk Ruby Atienza, Writer Hans Lawrence Malgapu, and Graphic Designer Rommel Rivera.
