UST TOURISM STUDENTS COMPLETE INTERNSHIP AT RITZ-CARLTON HONG KONG
TOURISM students from the University of Santo Tomas concluded their first Student Internship Abroad Program at the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong.
Thirty-two Thomasians received their certificates of completion earlier this month, marking a milestone for the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management’s first international internship batch post-pandemic.
Thean Rudas was named the “5-star Trainee” for the batch, while Norween Ardina earned the title of “Guest Recognition Champion.”
The program included students from the BS in Hospitality Management and BS in Tourism Management, who completed internships under Foreign Host Institutions.
Internship placements at the Ritz-Carlton covered roles in Food and Beverage, Kitchen, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, Bell and Concierge, Banquet and Bar Service, and Michelin-starred restaurants.
The program reflects UST’s commitment to providing students with global exposure and opportunities to develop skills in world-class hospitality environments.
