THE UNIVERSITY of Santo Tomas will offer five undergraduate programs in its General Santos City campus in Mindanao.

These are BS Accounting Information System, BS Entrepreneurship, BS Industrial Engineering, BS Medical Technology, and BS Pharmacy.

“With UST General Santos now open, we are happy to announce the first degree programs to be offered in time for Academic Year 2024-2025,” the university said on Facebook.

“Details on admissions and other related concerns will be released soon,” it added.

UST recently inaugurated the 82-hectare campus located in Barangay Ligaya, General Santos City.

It is set to open in Academic Year 2024 to 2025 as a branch campus, with an initial enrollment of 500 students in the health sciences, business and accountancy, engineering, and information technology courses.

Its seven-story main building can accommodate 5,000 students and is also patterned after the nearly century-old UST Main Building in Manila.

The new building has 24 classrooms, 23 laboratories, a chapel, a library, a clinic, an auditorium, a cafeteria, organization rooms, and function halls.
