ARCHITECTURE students from the University of Santo Tomas were declared the grand prize winners in the 2024 Worldbex Projéto Ideas and Design Competition.

Team Glaga Designs composed of Juan Christian Geronimo, Josearia Argayoso, Alvin Jezer Aquino, Shanea Xyzella Lim, and Inca Garrido were recognized for their entry “Laudex.”

“Their design and concept for Laudex is a testament to how interactive architecture should be, bridging technology and architecture to create a dynamic and flexible environment enjoyed by many,” Wordlbex wrote on Facebook.

The award was conferred at the SMX Convention Center Manila, Pasay City.

Organized by Worldbex Services International, Projéto is an inter-school competition for architecture programs nationwide that challenges the creative aptitudes of participating groups of students.

WORLDBEX stands for the Philippines Building and Construction Exposition. It is a pillar of the country’s construction and design industry for its premiere and world-class trade presentations.
