THE PROFESSIONAL Regulation Commission has recognized the University of Santo Tomas as one of the top performing schools in the psychometrician and psychologist licensure exams.

In the exams held in August, UST achieved a passing rate of 98.88% in the psychometrician exams and 93.55% for the psychologist exams.

The university produced seven top-notchers in the psychometrician exams who landed on the 6th, 8th and 10th spots.

Meanwhile, a UST graduate also ranked in the top 3 in the psychology exams.

UST Graduate School Assistant Dean Dr. Camilla Vizconde, Graduate School Psychology faculty member Dr. Lucila Bance, UST Department of Psychology faculty member Dr. Edilberto Gonzaga, and College of Science dean Dr. Rey Donne Papa received the Certificate of Recognition from PRC.

PRC earlier said that 339 examinees passed the PLE, while 6,133 succeeded in the psychometrician exams.
