UST ON-SITE PASKUHAN CELEBRATION RETURNS AFTER THREE YEARS

/ 16 October 2022

THE UNIVERSITY of Santo Tomas will hold the on-site Paskuhan celebrations for the first time in three years before the global Covid19 pandemic hit.

In an advisory, UST announced the event would culminate on December 19, with the theme ‘Pananabik, Pagbabalik, Panunumbalik.’

“The Thomasian Christmas tradition returns. Matapos ang tatlong taong pananabik, ang Paskuhan ay nagbabalik, kasabay ng mundong nanunumbalik,” it said.

“With God’s grace, we will be able to celebrate Christmas as one grateful Thomasian family,” it added.

However, UST will no longer allow outsiders to attend the Paskuhan festivities.

The Paskuhan is the culmination of the university-wide Christmas activities at UST.

The annual tradition started in 1991.

The programs of Paskuhan were held during the last week or last day before the Christmas break of the university.
