UST DELAYS START OF 2ND TERM

/ 13 January 2022

THE UNIVERSITY of Santo Tomas rescheduled the start of its second semester to January 25 due to the increase of Covid19 cases in the country.

The second semester was scheduled to start on January 18.

In a memorandum, Fr. Louie Coronel, O.P., UST secretary general, said that office work and classes in all levels will be suspended from January 10 to 15 “to allow our University staff and students to focus on their health, wellness and other personal needs and those of their families.”

“The University empathizes with its staff, students and their families who may be directly or indirectly affected by the Covid19 pandemic at this time. We encourage everyone to utilize the available online, spiritual, medical and psychological services of the University to help us get through these very difficult times” Fr. Louie Coronel added.

The start of the special term for Academic Year 2021-2022 has also been delayed to June 6-13.
