UST COMMUNICATIONS BENCHMARKS RSU MEDIA & PUBLIC AFFAIRS OFFICE

THE MEDIA and Public Affairs Office of Romblon State University recently conducted a virtual benchmarking activity with the University of Santo Tomas Communications Bureau to fulfill RSU’s mandate of handling the public image of its nine campuses.

During the activity, UST Communications Bureau Director Fr. Christopher Jeffrey Aytona presented the mandate, vision, mission, objectives, and structure of the office along with the original content it produces.

Aytona also discussed the services rendered by the bureau and how it liaises with stakeholders.

On the other hand, Assistant Director for Broadcast Faye Martel-Abugan discussed the bureau’s facilities.

She explained the importance of a television studio, radio booth, and technical operations center for students to produce their content.

Meanwhile, Media Production Supervisor Marvin Rellamas tackled the bureau’s line-up of original content and briefed the participants on the entire production process from pre- to post-production.

Assistant Director for Online Philippe Jose Hernandez talked about the social media protocols.
