/ 18 February 2024

THE UNIVERSITY of San-Jose Recoletos in Cebu City unveiled a new computer-aided design laboratory earlier this month.

USJ-R said technical service provider Tsuneishi donated six computers along with licensed CADMATIC software for the utilization of engineering students.

The software is used for 3D design which can be used for designing ships, industrial plants, and related information management.

These have become part of the 43-unit computer setup inside the Engineering Computer Laboratory 3.

University President Rev. Fr. Eduardo Celiz said that this development symbolizes the commitment “to enhance technological advancement and the commitment to strengthen the partnership between the two institutions.”

Tsuneishi Technical Services Philippines President Segismundo Exaltacion Jr. expressed that they want to bring what Tsuneishi is doing in their organization “to the academe because he acknowledges that the future manpower comes from the academe.”

Tsuneishi plans to add more computer units with Cadmatic software in the future, according to USJ-R.
