USC GRAD TOPS CPA LICENSURE EXAM
A GRADUATE of the University of San Carlos topped the Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination given by the Professional Regulation Commission this month.
Jianne Ilysse Dy Yu led the successful examinees with a rating of 89.67 percent.
She was followed by Julianne Nicole Luban Vitug of the University of the Philippines Diliman with 89.50 percent and Joebin Corporal Lopez of the Saint Paul School of Professional Studies who got 89.33 percent.
The PRC said 3,058 of 10,136 examinees passed the test held in 18 testing centers all over the country.
With 50 passers, UP Diliman was the top performing school with a 98.04 percent passing rate.
De La Salle University Manila came second with 80.53 percent passing rate.
