/ 26 July 2022

THE FEDERATION of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines has granted the University of San Carlos’ Accounting program Level III accreditation.

Only institutions with high level of education, a highly visible research tradition and a list of community extension programs are given Level Ill classification.

The Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges, and Universities assessed by the FAAP Board determined that the USC’s Accountancy program complied with all the requirements for a

Level IlI classification.

“USC’s Accountancy Department not only complied with the requirements but also demonstrated a highly creditable performance of its graduates in licensure examinations over the last three years, existence of working consortia or linkages with other schools and/or agencies, and extensive and functional resource

library and other learning facilities,” the university said.

It recognized all personnel of the Department of Accountancy, especially Eleanor Paclijan, Venus Branzuela and department chairman Atty. Wendell Ang.
