THE PHILIPPINE Normal University recently received instructional materials and supplies donated by the US Embassy in Manila.

“The instructional materials included recently published books and recent issues of journals, magazines, and other resource materials in English, Literature, and Social Science for use by pre-service and in-service teachers across levels,” PNU said on its website.

“The donated materials will be endorsed to the PNU Library, distributed to concerned faculties, and shared with the PNU adopted schools division for wider access and optimized utilization,” it added.

PNU officials picked up the materials on March 5, 2021.

University President Dr. Bert Tuga thanked the embassy for the donations, saying it will help the PNU community.

Meanwhile, several PNU officials also met with representatives of Cebuana Lhuillier Foundation to discuss a possible partnership for a scholarship program.
