THE UNIVERSITY of the Philippines-Visayas has forged partnership agreement with St. Louise De Marillac School of Miagao on the work immersion of senior high school students.

UPV Chancellor Clement Camposano and SLDS Principal Dr. Evelyn Nufable signed a memorandum of agreement on April 4 to formalize the collaboration.

Present during the event were Vice Chancellor for Administration Prof. John Lorenz Belanio and OIC of the Campus Development and Maintenance Office Engr. Mario M. Morano.

Through the agreement, eight Grade 12-STEM students from SLDS will have their immersion at UPV.

The opportunity will provide the students relevant knowledge and help them see the current needs of the engineering industry.
