UPV INKS DEAL WITH REACTOR SCHOOL IN SINGAPORE
THE University of the Philippines Visayas partnered with the Reactor School in Singapore for the development of academic and global educational cooperation.
A memorandum of understanding was signed by key officials of the two institutions earlier this week. The agreement aims to develop and implement collaborative activities covering entrepreneurship and innovation.
The agreement will be implemented through the Coastline 5023: DOST PCAARRD-UPV Fisheries Technology and Business Incubator and the Institute of Fisheries Policy Development Studies of the College of Fisheries.
“Entrepreneurship is not just about knowledge and skills; it’s also about habits and disposition,” UPV Chancellor Clement Camposano said.
The agreement aims to enhance the learning experience of UPV students, particularly on Fisheries Entrepreneurship, through training programs such as but not limited to EntreCamp, Startup Hackathon, EntreConference, Early Career Exposure, among others.
Reactor School is an entrepreneurship education program under the Singapore-based entrepreneurship training company Reactor Industries PTE LTD.
