UPV EXTENSION CAMPUS IN ANTIQUE ALMOST FINISHED
THE EXTENSION campus of the University of the Philippines in Antique is halfway done and is expected to be finished in September this year.
The three-story structure will have rooms for classrooms, offices, training spaces and a conference room.
“The campus, which was envisioned by the UP System to cater to HEIs, SUCs, and universities in Antique and neighboring areas, is expected to welcome students and trainees in the near future,” the university said.
The construction of the extension campus was a brainchild of Deputy Speaker and Antique Representative Loren Legarda.
The P50-million building is in Barangay Nauring, Pandan in Antique Province.
It is situated on a property donated by the Bautista family.
