THE UNIVERSITY of the Philippines Los Baños recently forged partnership agreements with 10 higher educational institutions across the country in an effort to expand its academic network.

The school signed respective memorandum of understanding with Palawan State University, University of St. La Salle, Southern Luzon State University, and Bulacan State University last month.

UPLB also signed agreements with De La Salle University Dasmariñas, Batanes State College, Mindanao State University Iligan Institute of Technology, Pampanga State Agricultural University, and Tarlac Agricultural University last June 14, while a similar MoU was also signed by the university with the Philippine Military Academy last June 17.

“Since its establishment, the Office for Institutional Development in Higher Education has been taking charge of activities pertaining to coordination and collaborative undertakings with various HEIs in the country,” UPLB said.

“Through the agreements, the UPLB and its partner HEIs will conduct capacity-building activities, including faculty and curriculum development,” it added.
