THE UNIVERSITY of the Philippines-Los Baños received the Tanglaw Award for being the Most Outstanding Research Institution last November 10.

The award was given by the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources Research and Development.

The university was recognized for its commitment to knowledge-generation, policy development and implementation support, resource conservation, agriculture, aquatic and natural resources and technology development.

Tanglaw Award is given to local agencies and institutions whose exemplary and outstanding performance led to higher productivity, efficiency, collaboration, and resource sharing.

The University pledged to continue its efforts to innovate and collaborate with other organizations.

“As we accept the 2023 Tanglaw Award, UPLB makes the pledge to continue collaborating and innovating with other institutions and organizations in the private and public sectors to become sustainable, resilient and future-proof,” the school said.
