UPHSD TO INOCULATE STUDENTS BEFORE FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES
THE UNIVERSITY of Perpetual Help System Dalta will inoculate its students before conducting limited face-to-face classes.
Dean Lorena Ilagan of the College of Engineering said that students will have to get vaccinated before they can join physical classes.
“Those who will be allowed to come in will have to have their vaccines first para safe din ang lahat,” she told The POST.
Ilagan added that students must be provided free transportation to ensure their safety.
“Iniisip ko puwedeng mag-provide tayo ng services para ‘yung estudyante point to point hindi na kailangang mag-commute,” she said.
Only 10 to 12 students will be allowed in each classroom and a two-meter social distancing will be observed. Each table will have an acrylic barrier.
Ilagan said that they have been preparing for the holding of limited face-to-face classes.
Engineering students will have their own pantry to avoid contact with students in other departments.
The Commission on Higher Education earlier said that it is considering expanding limited face-to-face classes to include engineering, IT and maritime students.
