UPD VICE CHANCELLOR’S OFFICE CONDEMNS ACTS AGAINST SAFE SPACES
UNIVERSITY of the Philippines-Diliman Office of the Vice Chancellors for Student Affairs denounced acts that can threaten the safe space of the university.
The move came after the university received social media reports about student organizations allegedly facilitating activities that go against the principles and rules of the school.
“Acts that jeopardize our safe spaces are never condoned,” the office said in a statement.
The unit is currently looking and investigating the said activities that might compromise the safety and security of the students by coordinating with the units under the UPD Office of the Chancellor.
“Consistent with established rules and procedures, investigations are underway to determine if there were violations of university policies in the conduct of certain organization’s activities.” it added.
