UPD TOPS METALLURGICAL ENGINEERING LICENSURE EXAM
THE UNIVERSITY of the Philippines Diliman dominated the recently concluded Metallurgical Engineers Licensure Examination, securing the top spot and seven other places among the successful passers.
UPD achieved an impressive 89.47% passing rate through examinees from its Department of Mining, Metallurgical, and Materials Engineering.
Lara Roxas led the roster of topnotchers with an 87.90% rating, followed by Gabriel Emmanuel Lopez in second place (85.55%) and Arthur Angelo Serrano in third (84.85%).
Other UPD top performers were Lorize Lorielle Dado (4th, 84.50%), Ma. Sharisse De Vera (5th, 84.45%), Ed Breinner Palaruan (7th, 84.10%), Aldwynne Isaac Quilang (8th, 82.85%), and Kenneth Cristobal (10th, 82.60%).
According to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), 47 out of 64 examinees passed the licensure test held in the National Capital Region, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, and Lucena.
