THE UNIVERSITY  of the Philippines Medical Alumni Society in America recently donated a new dental chair with complete accessories to the UP Visayas Miagao Health Services Unit.

The university said that after more than 30 years, the antiquated dental chair used at the HSU clinic has finally been replaced.

The dental chair came with a silent compressor, a sterilizer, a light-cure machine, a scaler, and other supplies.

“The donation was received in November 2020, however, the unit’s setup and installation were only recently completed this December,” the university said.

It added that the equipment will better serve the university’s constituents.

“We are grateful for all the support of UP MASA and friends who facilitated this donation to improve the unit’s facilities,” the university said.
